Conference Registration Award
2024 NJSNA Annual Conference
DEADLINE TO APPLY: August 1, 2024
The NJSNA Industry Advisory Committee is offering awards for the annual conference to assist with registrations.
The purpose of the award is to encourage members of NJSNA who are School Food Service Directors and Assistant Directors, those in a position to purchase for their programs or assist in purchasing, who have not attended the Annual Conference in the past two (2) years, or who have attended in the past but are not receiving, or not able to secure, financial support from their district this year, to attend the event.
There are a limited number of awards available, each valued at $460. The award will include a full conference registration (all activities and meals are defined on the registration form-no lodging).
Preference will be given to first time conference attendees, or members that have not attended the annual conference in the past two (2) years. The applicant's length of association membership and association involvement will also be considered. Previous award winners will only be considered after all other eligible applicants have been reviewed, if awards are still available.
Award winners will be recognized at the annual conference on Thursday at the General Session, and are expected to not skip any conference functions that are included in the full conference registration.
ABOUT THE AWARD
APPLICANTS
The applicant must be a current member of NJSNA. It is acceptable for the award applicant to become a member at the time of application (to obtain a form visit the website) although preference will be given to members of longer standing. APPLICATION PROCESS Applications are due by August 1st. Support from your immediate supervisor is required, and viewed as a commitment to attend. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
SELECTION
Applications shall be reviewed by the Conference Committee and winners will be notified by July 1st. This will allow the attendee complete registration process |
